Whatsapp with New Two Step Verification and Play Voicemessage in Background
WhatsApp brings Two-step verification for ‘beta’ users and now Can play VOICE MESSAGES in the Background on Android.
WhatsApp has started rolling out two-step verification new feature for Android users On ‘beta’ basics. Currently, the two-step verification feature is available only for beta users, we can expect it to be rolled out to all users soon. This two step authentication method ‘Adds More Security’ to our whatsapp account. A user will have to enter a six-digit pass code to enabled this two step verification.

Also other new feature is the option to play audio messages in the background. Previously, you had to keep open whatsapp and stay on the same conversation to hear any voice message where you received voice message. But Now, you can switch to other conversations or even other apps, and the audio will continue playing. Enjoy!!

To enable two-step verification for your Account, users need to Sign up for beta version and it is possible from Google Play store.
– Open Google Play store , and search for WhatsApp. Now scroll down the page and at the bottom you should see an option to sign in as Beta tester. Click on it and within few minutes ,you will be accepted as a Beta Tester.
– Open WhatsApp app in your mobile.
– Go to Settings.
– Go to Account.
– Find for Two-step verification.
– Tap on Enable.
– On the next screen, enter six-digit passcode.
– Next, re-enter six-digit passcode.
– Add your email address on the next screen. (Optional).
Here, adding email address is optional. By adding the email, users can get a mail when they forget their six-digit code. With email linked, users can ask WhatsApp to mail them an email link to disable two-step authentication in case their forget their code.
We highly recommend you to provide an accurate email address so if someone try to access your account, you get notified and get alert.

“If you have two-step verification enabled, your number will not be permitted to reverify on WhatsApp within 7 days of last using WhatsApp without your passcode. Thus, if you forget your own passcode, but did not provide an email to disable two-step verification, even you will not be permitted to reverify on WhatsApp within 7 days of last using WhatsApp. After these 7 days, your number will be permitted to reverify on WhatsApp without your passcode, but you will lose all pending messages upon reverifying – they will be deleted. If your number is reverified on WhatsApp after 30 days of last using WhatsApp, and without your passcode, your account will be deleted and a new one will be created upon successfully reverifying.”
These both two-step verification and background audio message playback are available in the latest WhatsApp beta (and a few versions prior) that you can get from the Play Store by Joining The Official Program or from APK Mirror.
